I had Osteochondritis Dissecans in my right knee which is a fracture between the bone layers.

I had surgery on my right knee that put 2 dissolving nails in my knee. It took me 9 months to return to my full training schedule. While thinking about the surgery and going through the recovery process I realized that I have to pay more attention to my body to avoid injuries. I also learned a lot on how to maintain and train my body to properly absorb the force of my jumps.
What advice would you give to a kid who is recovering?
The most important advice is to have patience and consistency. You need to approach the recovery process like your regular training. You will never recover overnight but need to gradually build your strength, flexibility and skills...And never give up.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
My goal is to compete in international competitions and to study computer science.
